The roots of Faber Industrietechnik GmbH date back to the years of the post-War economic boom. In 1971, the head office was relocated to Mannheim-Wohlgelegen as part of business expansion. In 1985, Ernst Auth, formerly manager of the SKF engineering and sales office in Mannheim, took over Otto Faber GmbH & Co.KG and consistently expanded the company together with his wife Annerose. The key landmarks of this expansion were as follows:

1991
Formation of a subsidiary in Worms.
1993
A modern new company building is constructed featuring:

1995
The company's name is changed to "Faber Industrietechnik GmbH" and a shareholding is taken by Volker Auth and Simone Auth.
1999
At the end of the old millennium, the company shares the LSC Linear Service Center in Feldkirchen near Munich.
2000
At the beginning of the new millennium, the company shares the MoveIT24-group and formation of a subsidiary in Kaiserslautern.
2003
The subsidiary Bohnenstiel Antriebstechnik GmbH is established
Faber Industrietechnik becomes the first SKF Certified Maintenance Partner worldwide.
2005
The industrietechnik24.de company portal is launched.
2006
Bohnenstiel Antriebstechnik GmbH is integrated and merged into Faber Industrietechnik GmbH.
2007
A mechanical workshop is developed.
2008
The company expands, buying the property at Mundenheimer Str. 41.
2009
Foundation of a training- and competence center
Upgrading of the mechanical workshop with CNC-machining centers
The former cooperation WHG Wälzlager Handelsgruppe changed the name into Move IT24 Industrietechnik GmbH. Foundation of an office in Worms.
